About Rock-n-Romp::Baltimore

A popular Washington, DC-area family-friendly summer music series for many years, Rock-n-Romp has now come to Charm City!

.

Hi, I’m Tracey Gaughran-Perez, your host for the rocking and romping. You can find out more about me and my life over on my blog Sweetney, so I won’t bore you with those details here. Suffice it to say I’m friendly and don’t bite, and have recently been completely housebroken. Fear not, friends.

.

The Rock-n-Romp series consists of rock shows organized specifically for parents and young kids. In partnership with The Creative Alliance, all performances are now being held at The Patterson ( 3134 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore MD 21224).

.

The skinny: shows take place on a weekend afternoon once every few months; the bands involved are encouraged to play their own music their own way (recognizing, however, that due to the age of 50% of the audience, volume and (ahem) questionable language is restricted); there are lollipops for the kids, a cash bar (for the adults only, natch), and a friendly, low-key atmosphere. If you are a parent who would be interested in attending RnR in Baltimore, send me an email and i’ll put you on our mailing list.

.

If you are in a band that would like to play RnR, or if you’re interested in more information, please send me an email indicating your interest!

.

So spread the word! Tell your friends! LET’S ROCK!
