Welcome To Rock-n-Romp Baltimore.

Originally the brainchild of Debbie Lee, Rock-n-Romp has been a popular Washington, DC-area Summer music series for three years running. Now, with Debbie’s help and blessing, we’ve brought Rock-n-Romp to Baltimore.

So what is Rock-n-Romp? Here’s an excerpt from Debbie’s original description:

…here’s the deal: local bands and musicians playing cool music (not necessarily “kid’s music”) for cool parents and their kids! It’s all about exposing the kids to live music (that doesn’t suck) in a kid-friendly way. The shows are during the day, low-volume, and there’s a swingset… There are also liquid refreshments—adult and non-adult. A $4 donation per adult is requested, but not required…

RnR Baltimore follows much the same format. Shows are in my backyard on a weekend afternoon once-a-month; bands are encouraged to play their own music their own way (recognizing, however, that due to the setting and the age of the audience, volume is restricted); there are toys for the kids, beer (for the adults only, natch), and a really friendly, low-key atmosphere.

If you are a parent who would be interested in attending RnR in Baltimore, send me an email (info@rocknrompbaltimore.com) and i’ll put you on our mailing list.

If you are in a band that would like to play RnR, or if you’re interested in more information, please send me an email (info@rocknrompbaltimore.com) indicating your interest!

Also be sure to check out the links on the right-hand side of this page (About, FAQ, etc.); therein lies a bounty of info about what RnR is all about!

So spread the word! Tell your friends! LET’S ROCK!
